PDMS- Dimethyl silicone oil, i.e. polydimethylsiloxane, is colorless, odorless, non-toxic oily liquid.It is also non-volatile, with good chemical stability, excellent heat resistance, electrical insulation,weather resistance, hydrophobicity, physiologically inertia, small surface tension and a lowviscosity-temperature coeffi cient, and can be used during -50~180ºC for long term.

It is widely used in building materials, electronics, transportation, petrochemical, textile fi nishing,medicine and health care, aviation scientifi c research and military technology. It is alsocan be used as additives in plastics processing in order to improve release ability of plastic andwear resistance, also as additives in paint and polish.

Low Viscosity Silicone Oils SANTECHNOL PDMS V3 - V10

Description: SANTECHNOL PDMS V3- V10 are a low viscosity polydimethylsiloxanic fluids.

Applications:

SANTECHNOL PDMS V3 - V10

V3 for Chain Stopper for silicone polymerization;

V10 for Lubricants (lubrication of elastomers or plastics on metal, on spandex agent);

Low temperature hydraulic fluids;

Thinning agents for RTV’s and silicone sealants ( Two   component, room temperature vulcanizing silicone   elastomers);

Coating additive to improve flowablity.

Properties:

Very good heat stability,

Low surface tension,

High compressibility,

Good weathering resistance,

Good oxidation resistance,

Low freezing point,

Less change in viscosity as a function of temperature than non-silicone oils,

Good resistance to high and prolonged shear forces,

Low heat of combustion,

Limited combustion.

Packaging：

Available in 25 and 200 kg drums.

Storage and shelf life：

When stored in its original unopened packaging at a temperature of between -20 and +30 ℃,   stored for up to 12 months from its date of manufacture (expiry date). Comply with the storage instructions and expiry date marked on the packaging.
