Silicone resin is mainly used to prepare silicone insulating paint, silicone coating, silicone adhesive and silicone plastic. High performance coatings such as high-grade building exterior wall coatings are the main market of silicone resin, and the main varieties are modified polyester and modified acrylic resin.

1. Electrical insulating paint: the volume, quality and service life of electrical machines and appliances are closely related to the performance of electrical insulating materials. Therefore, the industry requires the use of a variety of electrical insulation paints, including coil impregnation paint, glass cloth impregnation paint, mica bonding insulation paint and silicon paint for electronic and electrical protection.

2. Coating: silicone resin has excellent characteristics of heat resistance, cold resistance, weather resistance, hydrophobicity, etc. in addition, it can obtain colorless and transparent coating anti adhesion film coating and moisture-proof hydrophobic coating with good adhesion and wear resistance.

3. Bonding agent: polysiloxane used as bonding agent can be divided into silica gel type and silicone resin type, which are different in structure and crosslinking density. Among them, the resin adhesive has the difference between pure silicone resin and modified resin.

4. Plastics: mainly used in heat-resistant, insulating, organic and arc resistant silicone plastics, semiconductor component shell packaging plastics and foam plastics.

5. Micropowder and trapezoidal polymer: compared with inorganic filler, silicone micropowder has the characteristics of low relative density, heat resistance, weather resistance, lubricity and hydrophobicity. The trapezoidal silicone resin has higher heat resistance, electrical insulation and flame resistance than the silicone resin with general reticular three-dimensional structure.
